Mara Leventhal

Founding Partner

Mara Leventhal is a Partner with the Firm. Ms. Leventhal litigates complex, multi-billion dollar business disputes on behalf of prominent individuals, corporations and institutional clients.  She defends attorneys and major law firms in high stakes legal malpractice, disciplinary and sanction proceedings.  Ms. Leventhal has extensive experience representing domestic and international clients in a broad range of commercial disputes before federal and state courts, as well as in arbitration and mediation.

Ms. Leventhal is one of the Firm founders. Before joining the Firm, she was a partner at Joseph Hage Aaronson LLC, where she practiced for over 20 years. Previously, she practiced at Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP and served as a law clerk to the Honorable Jed S. Rakoff of the Southern District of New York.  Ms. Leventhal received a J.D. degree from New York University School of Law and a B.A., cum laude, from Dartmouth College.
